Are the accessories heavy?
Not at all. They are surprisingly lightweight and this has been verified by both brides and hairstylists. The average weight of my Wild Rose Headband is 143 grams. This is a similar weight as one and half packs of playing cards (apparently!). Or take my Waxflower Headband, a mere 40 grams
Can I personalise designs from your collection?
Absolutely. This is where the Ophelia Ren Bridal’s bespoke service comes in. If you have seen something you like but would prefer it in a different colour, have an idea of what type of flowers you would like, or would prefer a different style, then this can be done. Simply get in touch. Do you have colour swatches or images of your dress? Even better. Send them over and I will get designing!
What is your lead time?
All accessories and jewellery purchased are handmade to order. Please allow 3-5 weeks for your order to be made before your item(s) can be delivered.
For Ophelia Ren Bridal’s bespoke service, please allow approximately 4-8 weeks for your order to be designed and made before shipping. Bespoke orders will be arranged on enquiry. Do you ship internationally?
Good news, I ship worldwide. Simply add your favourite Ophelia Ren Bridal accessory to your cart and the shipping will adjust accordingly to what address you input as you purchase your piece. For more details see Delivery & Returns.
How are the hairpieces secured in my hair?
All Ophelia Ren Bridal accessories come with hidden loops that can be secured with hair pins. Look out for designs with hair combs, they can always be added upon request to any design and provide added stability when wearing your hairpiece with a veil.
Will they break?
Believe it or not but a bride once confessed that they accidentally dropped their headpiece down the stairs while showing it to someone. The flowers didn’t even chip! Although I won’t encourage you to test this out for yourselves, it does show you just how flexible and forgiving polymer clay can be.
I have spent a long time refining the combination of clays and their application in order to achieve as much strength and malleability for my designs and while no handmade flowers are indestructible, treated well these designs will last for many, many years to come.
